When considering which products to supply, given the vast amount of doors available, we scoured the market. We have supplied various types of entrance doors over the years, so we were looking for a quality provider that fits our ethos.
We found a company called Bel’M Doors and we were impressed by their range of products and excellent customer service. Established in 1986 in Nantes, France they have built a sustainable business model where, 59 per cent of the company is owned by its employees. They have 560 models of doors with all future models created with less carbon footprint.

BEL'm Alu/Steel entry level door
This model is aimed at customers who are looking for high quality, excellent security, minimal maintenance, a great range of styles and colours and will not bend and contract like other composite type doors available in today’s market.
The outer frame and coupling sections are made from aluminium which starts life as a Bauxite. Aluminium is lightweight, versatile and corrosion resistant and is also very strong. The door panels are made from steel which is stronger than aluminium and again requires minimal maintenance.
Consequently, the combination of aluminium and steel works very well and produces an overall U value of 0.76 W/m²K which is excellent in today’s world and betters most other products available in the UK market.
Bel’M Solid Aluminium Doors
Available in two types Alu 80 and Alu 100, these models come in more designs with even more colours and finish options (smooth, textured and of course dual colours). These aluminium doors are made using Kevla which makes the doors incredibly strong and durable. They come with a double polyamide thermal break which prevents hot/cold transfer (which can lead to condensation). They have compressed fibrewood inside, this is excellent for Acoustic Performance.
- All colour finishes are polyester powder coated

- Any RAL colour is available so we can colour match against any existing windows, garage doors etc that you may have.
- All doors come with a 20 mm aluminium threshold meeting the requirement of accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility.
- The Alu 80 model has an overall U value of 0.91 W/m²K
- The Alu 100 model has an overall U value of 06.8 W/m²K
- Alu 100 model is 98 mm in depth made from high strength single panel aluminium with enhanced thermal insulation.
- Ceramic or Inox tone décor available depending on model for a stunning bespoke feature/finish.
- Bespoke range of handles and fittings available.

Alu/Timber
This really is the Rolls Royce of doors, a real statement to complement any home.
Alu-clad outer frame outside and your choice of timber inside. The door slabs are made from either red cedar, oak or Accoya.
- Bio-sourced thermal insulation 37 mm (natural wood fibre).
- They are 94 mm thick so solid high quality timber which comes with high security multi-point locking and hook locks.
- 10 mm very high performance acoustic insulation.
- Excellent seals on sash and frame ensuring water and air tightness.
- 20 mm aluminium threshold meeting the requirements of accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility.
- Motorised lock option available.
- The U values for these timber doors range from 0.79 W/m²K to 0.82 W/m²K
Accoya Shou Sugi Ban
An exclusive design based on Accoya®, an extremely stable and durable wood that guarantees a very controlled ageing. The burnt wood is made using an ancestral Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban. The outer frame is aluminium powder coated, matt black textured finish and inner solid oak.
